1st Generation Nissan Qashqai 2006 – 2013
The First-Generation Qashqai was built at Nissan’s “Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK” (NMUK) plant in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear from the moment it went into production in December 2006. But the driving worlds love affair with the Qashqai predated this because it was in 2004 that we all first got a glimpse at what was to become one of the best-selling Nissan vehicles of all time at the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Over its entire run, the First-Generation Qashqai sold more than 1.24 million units in Europe alone (which is a Nissan record), over the span of its seven-and-a-half-year production run.
