5th Generation Nissan Patrol 1997 – 2016
Originally launched in December 1997, the 5th generation Nissan Patrol was made available with both petrol and diesel options powering this beast of an off-road SUV. Its reliability and power soon caught the eyes of the military in Asia, The Middle East and even the Irish Army (where the 5th and 4th generation Patrol is used as the primary troop transport vehicle). Of course, the civilian versions of the Nissan Patrol have much higher comfort specs than their military cousins, but the fact is the mechanical engineering and reliability factors expected by the world’s military still come standard in all new and used Nissan Patrols for sale in South Africa as well. 4th Generation Nissan Patrol 1987 – 1997
The first of what is now seen as the modern Nissan Patrols; the 4th generation Patrol was a radical departure from the Nissan Patrol variants that came before.
